Prepare straight line access to the canal orifice
Explore the canal using small sized Rotary files
Establish working length using a no.10 k file
Frequently irrigate, recapitulate and re-irrigate the canal throughout the procedure, minimally after using each file
If necessary, use the orifice opener Sx with a brushing motion to move the coronal aspect of the canal away from the furcation area and/or to create more coronal shape
Establish glide path using no.15 k file or glide path files
Use the shaper file S1, with a brushing action, until working length is reached
Use the S2 file in the same manner as that of S1until working length is reached
Use Finishing File F1, in a “non-brushing” action, with each insertion deeper than the previous insertion until working length is reached.
Gauge the foramen with a 20 Rotary file. If the instrument is snug at length, the canal is shaped and ready to be obturated
If the 20 Rotary file is loose at length, proceed to the F2 and, when necessary the F3, with the same non-brushing motion to working length
Prior to obturation, the smear layer has to be removed and final rinse should be done using an activated irrigation technique.
SuperEndo Protaper Rotary Files are quality files that feature a better nickel titanium construction than ProTaper Universal Rotary Files – plus ISO-colored handles. Their variable taper and advanced flute design offer efficiency to achieve consistent shaping, even under calcified canals.
1. Easy
Only one instrument sequence whatever the canal shape
Colour-coded and easy to follow protocol
Drying and obturation solutions specifically designed for Protaper® files, with the same color-codes for instant identification
2. Fast
Only 3 instruments needed for most cases
High cutting power
3. Efficient
Apical taper for good canal cleaning
Fantastic debris removal due to the unique ‘Multiple Taper’ design of these instruments
Shaping Files – Variable Increasing Taper (Eiffel Tower shape)
Sx, S1, S2 – Shape the Coronal & Middle part of the canal
Finishing Files
F1, F2, F3 , F4 , F5 – Shape & Finishes the Apical part of the canal
Sx – 19/4 %
S1 – 17/2 %
S2 – 20/4 %
F1 – 20/7 %
F2 – 25/8 %
F3 – 30/9%
